Review of Missionary Man (2007) by Barry B — 01 Aug 2008
Despite this being a straight-to-DVD movie, its a really good modern western directed by and starring Dolph Lundgren. Its shot really well, like a rebirth of the Clint Eastwood type loner vigilante movies of the 60's.
Dolph plays a biker who arrives in a small town at a friends funeral and discovers his pal's death may not have been an accident. Carrying a bible, he wipes out the corrupt business men and cops running the town.
Really enjoyable movie, directed and shot nicely by Lundgren. Worth a look action fans.
