Gripping, emotional, thrilling, and even depressing, Milk is Sean Penn's portrayal of the life of Harvey Milk, the US' first openly gay politician. It was easy to see why this movie won Best Picture in '08, as it clung you by the neck and would not let go, as Milk's inevitable fate unfolded before the viewer's eyes.
