A fascinating look at a Hollywood icon who I knew very little about before seeing this film. I had seen Milius' work, but didn't know anything about the man.
John Milius played by his own rules and was a force to be reckoned with in the 1970's and 80's. His career hit some speed bumps later on, but not before he left us with such classics as "Apocalypse Now", "Conan the Barbarian" and "Red Dawn". This man has a wonderful story and this documentary shines a light on the strange and rebellious character known as John Milius. Currently streaming on Netflix if you have the desire to check it out.
