Review of Midnight in Paris (2011) by Nick M — 28 Oct 2015
Does anyone depict a certain period as well as Woody Allen? This will go down as one of his best films later in his career. Every character is perfectly placed and casted, Allen takes time to just pause and give beautiful shots of Paris in which we are transported.
Owen Wilson is a misunderstood lovable character who eventually goes his own way to spend midnights with his ideal era. The movie is constantly funny through characters that are loathed and liked ( Conservative father in law / Salvadore Dali ) get this movie in your collection ASAP and keep it accessible so it can be enjoyed for years to come.
