Review of Midnight Express (1978) by Ceyhun G — 19 Nov 2007
Probably my all time favourite film. Scary, heart wrenching tale of a traveller entangled in drug running bust. Incredible emotions brought to the fore as we watch the defendant try to come to terms with life in a Turkish jail.
John hurt is earily impressive as a junkie. The film ends with as an endrenalin surging scene as it starts. Truly a wonderful film.
