Review of Michael Moore in TrumpLand (2016) by Jess_Hill — 29 Oct 2016
Michael Moore brings us this surprise film virtually on the eve of the election as a kind of plea to middle America to really consider the realities of a Trump presidency. An avowed non-Clinton voter, he presents an impassioned argument in a theatre in Ohio that examines the realities of what is at stake for the nation, as well as critiquing Clinton's life in the public eye.
Whilst not a polished or subtle film (some would say his films never are) this is an important, and heartfelt attempt to connect with those voters whose voices may well plunge the country into the abyss.
Worth watching, especially considering its very short run time. 8.
