Review of Miami Vice (2006) by Jeremyw. — 01 Aug 2006

I have read a lot of complaints about this movie and I only have 1 thing to say: "this is not Bad Boys 2 with a gunfight, car chase, and/or explosion every 5-10 minutes!". True to Mann's style (and the Miami Vice TV show that HE PRODUCED) much of the movie is setting-up each character's individual path.

SO when all of the different characters' paths finally meet, there is conflict (example being Heat: you see Deniro's path and Pacino's path and ultimately you know at some point these 2 paths have to meet and it will be very bad for 1 of them).
