Review of Messages Deleted (2010) by David L — 10 Dec 2011
A reasonable standard of film, which took one of the stars of the original 'Scream' film, and tried to place him in what was like a spin-off style plot. Built around another whodunnit type concept whereby we know that the lead character, albeit the prime suspect of the killings around, would not end up being the murderer.
we're simply awaiting the inevitable twist at the end to reveal all. It was quite watachable but it was all about the ending really, as the deaths leading up to it were mostly innocent victims that had played no part in the movie beforehand.
I felt that we were jumping from scene to scene very quickly, there was no suspense, or gore, and it could have used a bit more time on the events leading up to the deaths, rather then just presenting us with random dead bodies.
I felt that the acting was credible however, and for that reason, it could be recommendable, but not necessarily re-watchable.
