Review of Mercury Rising (1998) by Dan Y — 14 Oct 2007
This is an overlooked one with the mighty Bruce Willis.
He's a Federal Agent and comes across an autistic boy who, despite his learning impairment, can do puzzles like they are nothing. He deciphers one that gives him a phone number, he calls it and gets the department at the National Security Agency that makes uncrackable codes.
From there Willis has to protect the kid from a rogue government official who doesn't want the problems that will come up if the boy is allowed to stay alive. Filled with cool action and suspense.
