Review of Mental (2012) by Elizabeth T — 31 Mar 2013
A wacky Australian gem. It is a comedy with a heart that looks at the mentally ill with an unrealistic but somewhat compassionate way. I think the real message I got from the story was, What is normal? I felt myself smiling throughout the film even at the most awkward moments.
There is heart behind the story and the actors are great. How can you not feel good when you hear Edelweiss being sung.
