Review of Meet the Mormons (2014) by Whitney Z — 10 Oct 2014
Meet the Mormons was amazing! Actually it was beyond amazing. It was beautiful, inspirational, funny-I could go on but I think you get the point. One of my favorite parts was the story about the football coach at the naval academy.
In one scene he is shown on the sidelines of a very intense football game doing all he can do to motivate his team on the field. The scene shifts suddenly to the coach sitting in a tiny chair, singing songs with a Primary class that he teaches on Sundays.
The contrast is hilarious! Dawn Armstrong is featured in this film as well. Her story is so incredibly inspiring. As a struggling teenager she made a choice that changed the course of her life forever.
Our life on this earth is a journey. We all have our struggles and nobody was meant to go through this journey alone. We all have the basic need to love and be loved, and the gospel of Jesus Christ unifies us through His love.
