Review of Medea (1969) by Gary G — 01 Dec 2010
Although the film nods to Euripides it pulls many versions of the Medea story together. Callas is brilliant and the way Pasolini finds a way to echo the greek chorus in film ( the scenes with calas marching backwards and forwards with her ladies in waiting) is inspired.
