I know I'll sound thick and as though I don't get it, but I don't really like this film. I see what he's saying, that life for the poor is bleak and they are so alienated now that they just won't help themselves, but its just too bleak and boring - and that damn piano all the time.
A lot more happens in Secrets and Lies and Life is Sweet.
