Review of Meadowland (2015) by Jake Z — 15 Nov 2015

This is one of the worst movies I've seen all year, and I don't use it lightly. This film made me furious, and it is shocking that it got even made. It gathers a number of fine actors and accomplished film crews, and completely wastes their talents.

This is, ultimately, a 95-minute long music video in which the melancholic score fills every little space. It doesn't have a story, the script is terrible, the characters are shallow and seem lifeless throughout, and in the end does not offer any satisfying conclusion.

All I saw was a couple of fine actors walking like zombies and staring at the air. This is fucking offensive. Meadowland is absolutely garbage.
