Review of McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971) by Rob F — 13 Apr 2008
Probably my favorite of Altman's early films. Beatty and Christie are fantastic together, the cinematography is utterly breathtaking and the Leonard Cohen soundtrack ties it all together perfectly.
This is an anti-western in the style of "Assassination of Jesse James" and "Deadwood." Highly, HIGHLY recommended.
