Review of Max Manus: Man of War (2008) by Jan Edvard J — 21 Mar 2009
At last.. Nice to see a war movie where the blond and blue eyed is not a nazi but the hero of the story. Chilling scene with lonely hero on victory day surrounded by lost friends.
My Only complaint is that with a budget of 50 million Norweigan oil money they could have shot their own CGI in Stockholm. Not insert two grainy shots from "1939"!!
I got inspired to finish my own script about the inner demons of WW2.
