Review of Match Point (2005) by Robert V — 12 Aug 2013
This movie has an eerie quality that draws you in and makes you feel disgusted over how "Chris" gets away with the horrors he committed. His affair with Nola, how he used his brother in law, and how he lied to his wife and also his parents in law, it all just makes you feel he is an Asshole.
And the ending how it states "I don't care if he is great, I just hope he is lucky." That reference that comes from the beginning of the movie and incorporates tennis. I've seen it twice now, in 2005, and now in 2013.
Maybe I'll see it again when I have seen The Talented Mr. Ripley, which is also at times eeire.
