Review of Masters of the Universe (1987) by Landon O — 23 Oct 2007

Amazingly I spent my whole childhood loving the cartoon and the action figures, and never knowing about this movie! In fact, I am still spending my life loving the cartoon and the action figures. But about five years ago I learned about this movie.

I give it all the stars that I can, because it is still Masters. Nonetheless, it was a bit disappointing only because the only two original characters in it are He-man and Skeletor. The rest are sort of made up. The plot could have used some help too.

I just hope they make another live action movie one day with all the original characters from the cartoon... my socks would be blown off for sure.
