I think this is probably the best horror movie ever made. Although many films are gory, the tone throughout this movie is extremely serious and offers no glimmers of humor or hope. Furthermore, the entire production, from the camerawork to the special effects, appears to be top notch.
It does what a horror movie should do, captivate the viewer and make them feel horrified.
