What a little treat this was. A deliciously black comedy drama set in 1943 - Chris Cooper shines as a lovestruck husband whose taken a younger lover but is afraid to leave his wife.. played by the ever reliable Patrica Clarkson who is suitably fantastic.
. so he decides to poison her. Told from the narration of Pierce Brosnan, Coopers best friend, who is reveling this role of the suave ladies man, and ably supported by Rachel McAdams, the film is beautifully designed, paced and acted.
A must for those who like a little something extra from their dramas.
