Review of Marnie (1964) by Scott S — 04 Jun 2008
I love this one! If you like the idea of a woman being cured by the man who loves her and wants to possess her! I love that the dad is the butler from the old batman sitcoms and that the sister inlaw is the senator from Hannibal.
Sean was taking a detour when he made this movie but he claimed to have enjoyed it. Tippi was certainly thrilled to star opposite him and could not believe she actually got to kiss the great 007. The storyline is probably predictable now but back then this was quite a trip into psycological terror. The scene of a small child beating a guy with a poker stayed with me for years to come.
