This wasn't Greer Garson's "Madame Curie" MGM 1943. Feminism & Marie's sexuality along with her scientific brilliance make up this interesting movie. Not knowing much about the Curies, I know a bit more and will investigate.
(Marie won Nobel prizes in chemistry & physics; first woman to win a Nobel and only person to win two. Her daughter Irene also won a Nobel in chemistry.).
