Review of Maniac Cop 2 (1990) by Shaun B — 10 May 2013
The final 15 or 20 minutes or so is worth it if you're a pyro. Lot of cliches and rip-offs of other horror films of the past all rolled into one crazy mess that doesn't mean much at all. Like the first one it's basically Michael Myers as a cop.
But this is the sequel and it acts like one. Doesn't live up to the first one's "originality" (wasn't much there to begin with) but it finds a way to make itself known in a vast sea of mediocrity and total shit in the horror sequel subgenre portion of hell.
