Review of MadHouse (1990) by Kimmy X — 02 Sep 2008
Along the same lines of Christmas Vacation, this movie is about a married couple who just buys a new home and before they know it, it's over run with unwanted house guests. There are some humorous moments but over all the writing is pretty weak.
Kirstie Alley and John Larroquette do an adequet job, but it's the supporting cast that is dreadful and a little too obnoxious to be believable. The potential to make a great comedy was there but it just fell short.
One of those movies that you watch when there's nothing else on and you want to be mildly entertained.
