Review of Mad Hot Ballroom (2005) by Dillon J — 10 Jul 2007
Mad Hot Ballroom.
YEAR: 2005.
What's it worth? $10.00.
I've been waiting FOREVER to see this.
Mad Hot Ballroom is the sweetest thing. It's the most enjoyable documentary I've ever seen. Everything about it sent your skin crawling. I clapped somuch during this. And at the end I stood up and cheered.
Rarely does a documentary achieve that connectivity with the viewer. Docs seem to fell very disconnected and at times, dull. This had me intrigued, amazed and dazzled at every tango, merenge and swing dancing step! AMAZING!

Was it disappointing? Heck no.
Would you watch it again? YES. In. a. heartbeat.
