Review of Machine Gun Preacher (2011) by Leo K — 17 Jun 2012
This was a sensational piece of art and warfare. Its main focus was to highlight the sheltered western world with their 1st world problems, and to produce a stark contrast to the strife, death, and despair in Uganda.
Ultimately, it is very sensationalist (slightly over the top), but ultimately gets the point across.
You can't help but to feel for the cause in this region, while at the same time succumb to the 'someone elses problem' - mindset as highlighted in the movie.
Recommended for sure.
