Review of M (1931) by Brayden B — 17 Jun 2008
The original thriller. This german film by Fritz Lang from 1931 is amazing in it's ability to keep it's audience rivited over 70 years after its original release. And also for the amazing direction and groundbreaking cinematography. And also for the amazing performances and the incredible impact the film had on modern cinema. But my favorite part is the humanity of the story which is what makes the film so timeless.
The thing is there's alot of bad releases of this movie. Some having missing scenes and some are damaged. So rent the criterion edition, or download it.
