Review of Luce (2019) by Ginak — 21 Aug 2019
Luce is a riveting mystery with a wonderful cast that keeps you guessing right to the end. Even though it is set in a high school (not my favorite), some of the characters are extraneous, and occasionally the film tries a bit too hard to be “relevant,” the film kept me interested from beginning to end – and the acting (especially Naomi Watts and Octavia Spencer) was excellent.
And it is a bit too long. That said, I was never bored and the details and plot kept me guessing from beginning to end.
