My boyfriend was very surprised this was a “cartoon” as we sat down to watch this movie. Later he told me he forgot it was a “cartoon” because the story was so compelling about how Vincent died.
Some people cared about him, while other people had no interest in figuring Vincent out. If only more people cared about him while he lived, he would have seen his art appreciated in just a few more years.
What a waste...however, Vincent will live on thanks to his brother’s love which resulted in those work of arts that no one appreciated when Vincent was alive.
