Review of Love − Zero = Infinity (1994) by Eric R — 10 Aug 2009
A story about a drifter who spends his days conducting what he has dubbed unidentified following objects. A doctor hires him to follow around his wife, whose strange sexual habits lead to some interesting developments.
Like most of Hisayasu Sato's films, this film is very pornographic in certain scenes and deals with the theme of sexual pleasure and desires. It features some beautiful lighting, camerawork and colors but I almost wish the film could have been a little longer, to flesh out theme a llittle more.
Still interesting but not nearly one of my favorite Sato films.
