I love this movie. Nice girl falls for a bad boy who doesn't think twice about her. (how realistic is THAT?) Their relationship meant everything to her and we watch her fall apart. He finally realizes that he loves her after she stops caring about herself and goes down a very dark path.
The scam is interesting too - but I don't want to give it all away. A gritty side of New York is shown, the acting is realistic, and the supporting cast is excellent. I especially like August Diehl's performance, and Pam Grier is always fantastic.
