It is the story of a a couple that brought legalized prostitution to Nevada. It was interesting to see Helen Mirren and Joe Pesci play a couple that ran a brothel. It was also nice to see Pesci play a no shit-taking kind of character again getting mad, yelling and intimidating guys like he did in all those previous gangster roles.
The story was interesting and the acting was solid. It also takes a diversion you would not expect which is nice. I think it got an unfair rap from critics and I urge you to watch it and make up your own mind.
I recommend it.
