Overall a good film. Not perfect but I feel it was very entertaining for what it was. Film was fun and, for me surprisingly emotional at the end. It a good balance of action that kept me on the edge of my seat because I actually cared about the characters, but also the movie didn't seem to be trying to hard to be something it was not.

I don't think that the new characters at the end (cops) where as good as they could be but Slater turned in a very dark performance (versus I think what has been a very uneven past few movies) and seems to be on his way back up.

Jenna Dewan is also extraordinarily likeable in the film which was a surprise for me.

Overall I give it an 8/10. Rent it if you like Slater or a good action movie with heart.
