Review of Louis C.K.: Shameless (2007) by Alexander Z — 30 May 2011
I had always found Louis C.K. funny, but not among the greats. Then he released Shameless. While before he had been a strictly observational and absurd comic, in a few short years he completely changed his act into something that was so much more.
He began to display evidence of it in his half-hour specials, but this hour is destined to become a classic of comedy. With this special and his two subsequent ones, Louis elevated himself to one of the best working comedians today.
