Review of Looking for Eric (2009) by Matt N — 09 Dec 2009

After a long wait to see this, I was not disappointed.

This film takes a while to build up to the eventual turn, going through the struggling life of Eric the postman. It was a pleasant surprise to see some familiar faces from soaps and dramas that I could immediately connect with. The star of this show, King Eric (I am a Manchester United fan) is brought into this film as a messiah, guiding the postman through and offering some excellent advice in a top notch, limited, on screen acting performance.

The story is great, brilliantly written and directed giving a fantastic feel good ending with the right amount of comedy.
