Review of London Road (2015) by David C — 18 Oct 2015

While fascinated at how well the verbatim technique of this musical was written, I'm not really a fan of dark and dreary musicals. So while I can say that this is a very well-executed version of the stage play, no doubt, it simply isn't my cup of tea.

As one review wrote, perhaps if the songs had hooks and melodies just as movies need plots and characters, the film would be more engaging.
