Review of Lockout (2012) by Aaron B — 16 Nov 2012
Okay, you got to take this movie as what it is, nothing more: It's a fun action movie. It's not high art, it's not Shakespeare, it's an action movie. While the dialogue and the plot aren't 100%, Guy Pearce is absolutely perfect in this role.
He turned a 2-dimensional character and gave him a ton of depth, balls, and verve that weren't there to begin with. He is the one to watch in this, and that's why it's a 5-star action movie.
