The battle of good/evil mixed with suspense/mystery thriller engages me from the beginning to the end. The many characters of the simple people in a small cajun town are painted rather one-dimensional.
The isolated swamp setting suggests perpetually impending danger, with alligators lurking underneath. Has an old-fashion feel to it.
