Review of Little Buddha (1993) by Carmen T — 16 Oct 2007
I just love this movie. I guess it is a matter of taste if you like the way they portrayed the story of Siddharta or not. Personally, it worked well for me to use switches between past and present. That made it somehow more interesting and involving.
I loved the idea of the 2 boys and the 1 girl being reincarnations and the way it was told. I loved the soundtrack as well. I also like the way they brought the idea of reincarnation close to the viewer by taking him to the different places where the kids were found, it was plain in a way.
Very nice acting of Keanu Reeves and the kids!
