Review of Like Father, Like Son (2013) by Ricardo G — 08 Jan 2014
An understated, but powerful and emotional modern tale of switch-at-birth. What worked for me is how the movie used all of the predictable, used-up plot devices and set-ups to make something very genuine, and some very raw about it.
And of course, I am always a sucker for the protagonist going through hell and back, learning the hard way to eventually become a better person, so all of these elements made Like Father, Like Son a gripping drama.
