Review of Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man (2006) by Kate T — 03 Jun 2007
Jiggle-happy camera work was annoying, but possibly more so because of the tiny screen I watched this on. Also, you have to be really good to cover Leonard Cohen. Most of the people performing just can't cut it.
Rufus Wainwright was decent - his sister has a nice voice but watching her sing is aggravating. Bono was good as backup, but I didn't like his lead vocals. There were some great quotes in this one though, and it's worth watching just to get a glimpse of Cohen through other artists' eyes.
