Review of Lemmy (2010) by Senor C — 23 Aug 2011
There are many legends in rock/metal/punk but no one is as bad of a mother-fucker then Lemmy. A true icon who influence can be felt throughout the genres (that many in this film will attest to) & is truly transcendental.
Although this documentary sheds very little light into the personal life of the Motorhead front man it's always of interest & I could easily spend another 2 hours w/ the man. Just about everyone who has had staying power in these genres have nothing but praise for the man but sadly (& strangely) missing is Slayer.
Instead we get Metallica who even performs w/ Lemmy. Even though I hate Lars it's all good shit so pour yourself a Jack & Coke, turn it up & go fucking deaf w/ the Godfather of Metal.
