Review of Leaving Las Vegas (1995) by Melissa C — 28 Jun 2008
I never quite understood why, apart from the idea of unconditional love, but this was one of the most definitive movies for me growing up.
I have recently begun to understand the idea of wanting to be saved, an appetite for destruction, and wanting to save somebody tragic that had no hope left within, or desire to be helped.
Something that obviously plagued the younger me, who I am glad to have let go off little by little. :) I wonder, if I were to watch it now, whether I would feel the same love for this movie as I did at 15.
