Review of Laurence Anyways (2012) by Ingela A — 06 Mar 2013
After "Heartbeats" Xavier Dolan delivers a heartfelt drama about love and the struggles it brings when the one you love hasn't been himself for 30 years... a man that really os a woman. Dolan poetically crafted their story great casting as he brings two of his 'Martyrs' co stars Catherine Bégin, Mylène Jampanoï.
Also Monia Chokri joins in after working with Dolan in the last movie. Its not as engaging as "Heartbeats"or as controversial as "I killed my mother" but its got some poetry to it.
Dolan is one of those young talents we have to keep an eye on.
