Review of Late Phases (2014) by Ken S — 20 Sep 2016
"Late Phases" is a solid indie horror film about a blind cantankerous Old Vietnam Vet who moves into a community for retirees and discovers on his first night that the place may have a werwolf problem, then readies up to take on the beasts when the full moon returns.
It is a solid story, original and fun...and the werewolf transformation is gruesome and great. The werewolves in action kind of look like Halloween costumes, but that is forgivable because this is a low budget film with a fresh take on werewolves.
