Review of Late Bloomers (2011) by Patti C — 25 Sep 2016
This isn't a rom-com as it's billed. It's a delicately balanced coming of age story of two people coming to terms with aging. Mary, the wife, is trying to "get things right'" by exercising, age-proofing the house, getting tested for diseases of aging.
Adam is doing the guy thing of hating age and fighting against it. There are some holes in the plot and story, but on the whole it's marvelously skillful . Love it.
