Review of Land of the Dead (2005) by Jonathan K — 02 Jul 2011
This is easily one of Romero's best "Of The Dead" films. The story is brilliant and well written, and the acting is pretty good. Dennis Hopper and Simon Baker are both great, as is John Leguizamo.
This film really came as a game changer. Just when zombie flicks were getting trite and cliche, here comes Romero (again) to bring life, if you will, back to the genre, and bust through all the cliches while he's at it.
