Review of Lake of Fire (2006) by Andrew K — 03 Feb 2010
"Lake of Fire" is a a heart-wrenching, disturbing, emotionally-charged journey through both extremes of the abortion debate. As has been noted by other reviewers, I agree that if the goal if the filmmakers was to have a balance then they could have chosen more articulate pro-life advocates.
However, I also think it would be difficult to come away from this movie with an unequivocal support for abortion. Overall, it provides what I would consider to be a welcome sense of nuance to an issue that is far too often portrayed as black-and-white.
