Review of Lady Vengeance (2005) by Lloyd C — 20 Jun 2009
This movie seems to be overshadowed by Oldboy which is unfortunate because I think that parts of it are superior. Overall I think that Oldboy is a better film but I also think Oldboy is a masterpiece and the fact that I am comparing the two speaks a lot about Lady Vengeance.
If you haven't seen this then do yourself a favor and get your hands on a copy of it. It's also a movie that is better each time you watch it like Groundhog's Day, Jackie Brown, and Rio Bravo so I recommend watching it at least a couple times.
