Review of Lady Vengeance (2005) by Michael H — 12 Aug 2009

One of my favorite movies!! Don't be fooled by the promotion of this film, this film is a high drama with a very humanistic view point. Like all of Chan-Wook films not really ever taking a side and have a bit of black comedy.

But really the thing that carries the film is Geum-ja as character. She is sweet, cruel, selfish, makes a lot of mistakes, and lacks courage at certain points but in the end Geum-ja is always overcoming what every her problem is at the time and never finding her atonement.

But despite this, no actually because of this I fell in love with the character of Geum-ja.
